I have snorkeled The Keys, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Jamaica and the Caymans and by far the best snorkling has been in the Caymans. Cant speak to the eastern Caribbean but the sites here are far and away the best I have seen in the western Caribbean or Florida Atlantic area.

I will be in the Caymans come August, and have yet to experience what hopes to be very promising snorkeling. Of my trips to various BVIs, the AVIs, Jamaica, the Keys and Bonaire, Bonaire is amazing and is by FAR my favorite to date. Get there if possible.

I found Grand Cayman excellent! It's really amazing to have a trip there.

Voted for Curacao as it is the best I've seen to date. Going to stay at the Retreat Feb 1st through the 8th and excited from what I've read on this site.

We have snorkeled St. Croix and Buck Island and are heading to Cayman in May. Buck Island is heaven on earth to me and I can't wait until the next place I find to beat it out for that title.

I found Grand Cayman excellent! It's really amazing to have a trip there +1 on Grand Caymans. They will not let you down. The experience is amazing! |
